Responsible Gambling

LiveGambler.com provides a platform for responsible gaming in the most secure online environment.  We are committed to and operate within industry standards and best practices.  LiveGambler encourages our members to gamble for enjoyment and entertainment.

While most members enjoy gambling in a sensible manner, there are some individuals that face potential gambling compulsiveness.  If at any time a member wishes to be excluded from the Cardroom, please contact us at info@livegambler.com.  We will make every effort to provide assistance and remove our software from your system.

Please remember responsible gaming includes:

  • Gambling is entertainment and should not be a primary source of income.
  • Keep track of the time and amount of money you spend gambling.
  • Avoid chasing losses.
  • Only gamble a dollar amount you can afford to potentially lose.
  • Assess your gambling habits on a regular basis.

If you sense that gambling is placing an emotional or financial burden on you, we suggest asking yourself the following questions:

  1. Have you ever lost time from work or education due to gambling?
  2. Have you ever felt remorse after gambling?
  3. Have you ever gambled to get money with which to pay debts or otherwise solve financial difficulties?
  4. Has gambling caused a decrease in your ambition or efficiency?
  5. After losing have you felt the urge to return to gambling as soon as possible to win back your losses?
  6. After a win do you have a strong urge to return and win more?
  7. Have you often gambled until your last dollar was gone?
  8. Have you ever borrowed to finance your gambling?
  9. Have you ever sold anything to finance gambling?
  10. Were you reluctant to use "gambling money" for normal expenditures?
  11. Have you ever gambled longer than you had planned?
  12. Have you ever gambled to escape worry or trouble?
  13. Have you ever committed or considered committing, an illegal act to finance gambling?
  14. Has gambling caused you to have difficulty sleeping?
  15. Do arguments, disappointments or frustrations create an urge for you to gamble?
  16. Have you ever had an urge to celebrate any good fortune by a few hours of gambling?
  17. Have you ever considered self-destruction or suicide as a result of your gambling?

Most compulsive gamblers will answer "yes" to at least seven of the above questions.  Below are organizations that offer practical and professional assistance if gambling is becoming compulsive:

Prevent Under-Age Gambling
It is illegal for those under the age of 21 to play within our Cardroom.  LiveGambler.com requires the name, address, and age of all our members to thwart underage gambling.  We also do not target our marketing efforts to those under the age of 21.

LiveGambler.com follows and implements the guidelines established by The Interactive Gaming Council to limit gambling access to minors.

Some easy steps to help prevent minors from gambling without your knowledge:

  • Use child protection software to block gaming sites from those under 21 years old.
  • Do not leave children unattended when you play on the LiveGambler website.
  • Do not share your credit card or bank account details with minors.
  • Do not leave the "Save Password" option enabled on the gaming software login screen.
  • Create separate profiles on your computer specifically for your children – when they use the computer they cannot access your profile/information.

If you know someone under the age of 21 who is registered with us, please contact us immediately.  We will keep your contact with us completely confidential.
